The Daily Scrapbok Page - Layout #11

So....................I kinda fell off the face of the earth the last few days. You see, the kids and I are trying to cram in the #SummerOfFun into this lat week before CHA and well, I was too busy to make any videos! Here is why:

  • Went to the OC Fair
  • Took Matt for a mommy and son Despicable Me 2 movie date
  • Did TWO tie dye demos in two different cities
  • Did a LIVE web show from Mothership Scrapbook Gal's Crafty Happ Hour
  • Did a LIVE web show on how to make an upcycled wreath
  • Gave the dogs and puppies a bath
  • Took the kids to visit family
  • Made Crafts at the Bloggers Get Crafty event by SoCal Lady Bloggers
  • Got grub at Islands Burgers for a SoCal Lady Bloggers event
  • Went to the Drive-In theatre and saw Pacific Rim with the whole fam
  • Katie went horseback riding

Crazy, right? So, now that I've made some memories, its time to SCRAP some memories. I hope you are making memories this summer too!

The Daily Scrapbook Page - Layout #10

We all do it. We have those tools we buy and maybe we love them for a month or two, or maybe they are still in the package, but the bottom line is that we are not using them to their full potential, as often as we ought to, and not getting our money's worth out of them.

One of the tools I stopped using regularly was my Silhouette Cameo Machine. I moved a coffee table form my guest room into my family room, set up the ameo on it and set up my laptop on a TV tray. And while I was watching TV, I made some files and then started cutting them on the Silhouette. I started with some paper I wasn't too in love with, just to get the feel of it back.

Today's page uses those elements I cut from the Silhouette Cameo. It feels really good to get out a tool and USE it! What tool or product did you buy that you wish you used more?

Today's layout is about me teaching Katie to sew. I still need to add pics but you can check out the video here:
