WEEK 15 - SPRING IS HERE!

Who doesn’t love spring!  Spring is here!  It is my favorite time of the year.  I love the smell of the fresh flowers blooming, the wonderful beautiful colors of spring, and just the over all feeling of knowing that spring has sprung.  Gardens are in full bloom and there are gardens all over California that I just love visiting.  In San Francisco at the Golden Gate Park is a garden that blooms every year around March and April.  It is spring in its awesomeness and my husband and I visit there each year.  This is also the time of the year when the California poppy, the state flower, blooms in many different colors.

In this layout are the many colors of the California poppy at the Golden Gate Park in San Francisco.  Although the rose is my favorite flower, I just could not resist taking this photo and capturing the many greens, reds, yellows, and pinks of this absolutely gorgeous flower.  Oh, and I threw in a picture of some red tulips just because they looked just as beautiful.

Do you have a garden?  What is your favorite flower?  Spring has sprung, so take a photo of your favorite flower, your garden, or a blooming flower while they are in full bloom and then use the photo in your layout.  The flowers and colors will last forever.

One of the challenges with using your stash sis when you only have one sheet of each patterned paper from a collection but you want to make a two page spread. Well, you can use two different papers from a collection and still get a cohesive look -- that is what this page is all about.  Check out the video here:
