Banners and More

Hi everyone!  Nancy here today to share with you this weeks layout, one featuring a couple of banners.
Projects Used:

  • October Afternoon Woodland Park Paterned Papers and Chipboard
  • My Minds Eye Enamel Dots
  • The Twinery Baker's Twine
  • Vintage Tag

Step 1:  Cut patterned papers to make large frames and layers.

Step 2:  Place photos and papers slightly skewed and overlapping.
Step 3:  Add pinked border under the main photo for extra interest.
Step 4:  Add banner pieces under large photo frame.  Run baker's twine over the banner pieces and tie small bow at end to anchor.
Step 5:Layer scalloped circles cut from patterned papers onto tag and adhere under photo.
Step 6:  Add additional banner pieces, bakers twine and title over photo.
Step 7:  Add enamel dots randomly on page.

Bestie...

I don't get to see this girl often enough, so dedicating a page to her is my next best thing !!
And what better than to use some fab Heidi Swapp and a bit of Bo Bunny to make it happen.

It doesn't take a lot, a splash of paint

and a few bits of Cardstock and embellies and you're there.

But sometimes you look at your supplies and see that they're not the right colour, so what do you do ?
You paint them of course !!



Add a little sanding and Ta Da... they match your project perfectly.
Now go grab some of your supplies and Play ...
Oh.... and Happy Christmas everyone I hope you gets lots of new scrapbooking goodies

#49 - Using a T-shirt on a Layout

Hey everyone!  This week I'm going to show you how to use a t-shirt cut on a layout.  Many people have used different types of items and textures on their layouts and this week I came across an old t-shirt that my husband didn't need anymore.  So I cut that baby up and used part of it on my page!  I hope you enjoy it and please feel free to leave any questions you might have!  Have a great week!

Patterned Paper: Adrienne Looman for Webster's Pages
Bingo paper cards
Note pad paper
Ink: ColorBox (Surf)
tab sticker
ribbon
Alphas: Basic Grey
Epoxy hearts: Freckled Fawn
Wood banner: Freckled Fawn
Paperclip: Target
T-shirt cut
