Hey everyone! As we go into May, we will be focusing on school layouts for Teacher Appreciation Day or on Mother's Day layouts. I decided to go the school route. Although I don't have any pictures of teachers I haven't already scrapped, I did a page documenting my sorority in college. These products immediately jumped out at me to make this page. Hello! Sarah here with your first layout for the month of April. For April, we decided to do a green layout inspired by Earth Day, or to use an Easter color pallet on our layouts. I have decided to go GREEN in celebration of Earth Day coming up this month. We are challenging you to use the color green on your layout or to use something recycled or upcycled on your layouts! I chose to use the color green and I gave my layout some earthtone colors. Please check out the video for my process!

A couple of years ago I got these awesome Pantone Paint Chips from the local Lowe's, from their Pantone Universe Collection. The color of the year was a green color called "Emerald":
Last year's was "Radiant Orchid" and this year we have "Marsala", a deep wine color. I grabbed the Emerald chips and some other complimentary ones and knew they would be perfect for scrapbooking. Not only would they be on trend but they didn't look as much like paint chips as panels or maybe even Project Life blocks! They were made for a colorblock style scrapbook page:
